Of what metal are the Yak Trax coils made? Do they corrode?
I refer to the Yak Trax shoe traction devices for ice and snow.

No...hut the rubber portion will tear under exreme use.

the coil is made of coated steel, I have it for one years and until now it still work fine without any rust

I am not sure but I have a pair for the lst couple of years. I can say no they do not carrode. The coils a very hard that leads me to beleive they are`maid of stainless steal

Will these fit around non-sport shoes (i.e. dress shoes or something of the like)?
If yes, does the size chart differ based on that?

Yes, they will fit on any shoe. The sizing chart goes according to your shoe size, so you may use it as is. I would only consider going one size up if you were wearing very big winter boots.
Small fits Men's 5-8.5 or Women's 6.5-10 Medium fits Men's 9-11 or Women's 10.5-12.5 Large fits Men's 11.5-13.5 or Women's 13-15 Extra Large fits Men's 14+ or Women's 15.5+
